Instructions for Posters
Technical Specifications and preparation tips:
- It is recommended that your poster is layout in PORTRAIT style and is no larger than 3 feet wide x 4 feet high (approx. 90cm wide x 120cm high). Posters may be prepared on one panel/sheet (preferred method) or alternatively on several smaller sheets
- Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract
- The text, illustrations, etc. should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters
- Double-sided tape will be available in the poster area for hanging of posters
- Putting up poster will be done by each author, but let staff at the Registration Desk if you need assistance to find the poster location or put up your poster
- Please remember to collect your posters at the end of the GeoVet Conference (by 6pm on October 10th). The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters that are not removed by the end of the Conference
At the Conference Center and the session room:
- Posters will be displayed in the coffee/lunch areas. Please check with the Registration Desk for the board number on which you should display your poster. If you selected the poster presentation session, you will be also provided with the session number and order of your presentation
- Poster presenters may mount their posters from 7:00am on October 8th on the designated poster board area and should remain on display until the end of the Conference (6:00pm October 10th)
- Presenters should be present at their designated poster board(s) during coffee and lunch breaks to answer any questions. These events give you the unique chance to discuss your work with other scientists
- Poster Sessions I-III: three parallel poster presentation sessions will take place on Tuesday October 8th from 5:30pm to 6:00pm in which presenters are requested to stand by their posters for a 3 minutes discussion during the poster session (the session and order of presentation will be provided in advance). Please be on time for the session and meet your moderator at least 5 minutes before the session starts
Certificate:
- Certificate of Poster Presentation will be provided the last day of the conference at the Registration Desk
