Getting around Davis on a bike: JUMP bikes are available around the campus and city.

Rail

Davis was founded as the Davisville railroad depot in 1868, thus it’s only fitting to travel to Davis by train. Though US train travel is one of the slowest mode of transportations, it is also one of the most scenic ways to cross the country. Davis train station is located downtown and a short 20 min walk from the conference center. It is served by the Amtrak long distance California Zephyr (Chicago-Denver-San Francisco) and Coast Starlight (Seattle-Portland-San Francisco-Los Angeles) lines, as well as the local Capitol Corridor line. The San Joaquin line also connects via a bus shuttle from Sacramento.
